Instructions
Preparation
Begin by gathering all your ingredients. Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
Mixing
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Use a fork or spatula to mix until well combined.
Shaping
Take a small amount of the cheese mixture (about a tablespoon) and roll it into a ball. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat this with the rest of the mixture, ensuring all cheese balls are uniform in size.
Coating
Once all the balls are formed, dip each one into the beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat completely.
Grilling
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Place the coated cheese balls on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, monitoring carefully to ensure they don’t burn.
Serving
Once grilled to perfection, remove the cheese balls from the grill and let them cool for a minute. Serve warm, and enjoy!
Notes
Leftover cheese balls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the oven or air fryer to retain their crispy texture.
